Last Day in Africa- Morning

"Wed, December 14th, 2011
Dear Journal,

I leave today. I'm sad. I don't really want to go back. What is there for me at home? Work? My family doesn't live in the same town as me. I don't have many friends in Wooster. It's just my job. I don't want to go back to work. Life seems so meaningless back in the states. Perhaps that is the case when everyone goes on vacation; they feel a lack of something exciting in their future. That's what I'll need now- something exciting to look forward to upon my return.

It's going to be a long day today- I only start traveling tonight."

After I ate breakfast, I asked if there was a local store around where I could buy some feminine products (yes, it was that time of the month). After getting various suggestions, Timothy accompanied me outside of the lodge's gates to a small hole-in-the-wall store where they had products. I lucked out! The store clerk wrapped my product like a birthday present. Happy Birthday to me!

Upon my return to the lodge, I decided to take some photos around the lodge's property. Here are the results:

I would love a veranda like this!
